Bayer is racing to introduce new herbicide in Brazil

Bayer has recently launched Alion herbicide for weed management on crops such as coffee, citrus and sugarcane in Brazil. The interregional expansion, the soil diversity, high rates of rainfall and low rates of crop rotation are the main factors that contribute to diversion of plants and difficult to control, which is increase production cost and reduce yields.

“In addition to prevent the germination of weeds resistant and difficult to control, and have a long residual, Alion plays a vital role on sustainable development, as its can optimizing application, reducing water consumption, machinery, CO2 and optimizing on labour management.” Confirms by MárioLussar, manager of Herbicides and Plant Growth Regulators at Bayer.
